Its compact dimensions and controllable recoil make it exceptionally effective in the narrow corridors of Labs X16 and X18, where quick target transitions matter more than raw firepower. Most examples are believed to originate from military deserters who smuggled the rifles into the black market after abandoning their posts. To improve practicality, Bandit gunsmiths often replace the original carrying handle with a custom Ultimak-style rail, providing a lower optic mount and access to widely available Western sights. Extended 45-round magazines are common, allowing sustained fire during mutant encounters, while scarce factory suppressors are usually replaced with adapted PBS-4 units. Lightweight, compact, and highly maneuverable, the "Groza-2" has earned a reputation as a prized underground fighting weapon."
