Bios (Original, MAX speed) piano arr. Animenz ~ Guilty Crown, Garritan CFX / Yamaha N1X

Bios, from Guilty Crown, music by Hiroyuki Sawano, piano arranged by ‪@Animenzzz‬​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠, played by Richard Yang on Yamaha N1X with Garritan CFX VST. Animenz revised a few of his arrangements years later to perfect the original (ie My Dearest), or to make simpler (ie Snow Halation). Bios is a unique piece that got a complete changeover. I previously released the 10th Anniversary version, which is a masterpiece on its own. Having done that, I feel a bit more free to mess with the original Bios, which is notoriously difficult to begin with. As a challenge for myself, I attempted a much faster tempo to test my limit. It’s still musically sound, and I personally enjoyed the excitement. The limit appears to be the 16th triplet arpeggio at 2:47, which I don’t think can go any faster. No piano lesson planned for this one. The original Bios is definitely an advanced arrangement. To play well, you need to really “know” the piano. As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
