Those Were The Days - Own Composition by XA [2024-25]

किसी महान व्यक्ति ने क्या खूब कहा है कि आज से कुछ सालों बाद हमारे पास चार पहिये वाली महंगी गाड़ियां तो होगी ,पर उसमें बिठाने के लिए चार दोस्त नहीं होंगे | In a world that's spinning the thread of time eternal, we have this thing that drives us to excellence and purpose—friendship. Friendship is the magic that turns ordinary days into extraordinary moments. School days are a special chapter in our lives, filled with memories that last a lifetime and this is what inspires us to write a song on this topic. This song is a tribute to those golden days, when friendships were forged in classrooms, on playgrounds, and during endless hours of laughter and fun. The first part of this song takes you back to those cherished school days, where laughter was endless, promises were made, and bonds were unbreakable. The second part of this song talks about the sorrows of getting separated from a close friend. Friendship is a heartfelt journey through the joy, the struggles, and the irreplaceable memories shared which, despite the distance, remain forever in our hearts. Let's celebrate the essence of these timeless connections that shine like stars. Verse 1- The laughter we shared, Together the tears we shed. From calling you a friend of mine, And together we shine. Lucky enough to call you my friend, Sharing memories will never end. This closeness increased so soon, Our friendship is a boon. Chorus- Those were the days of fun, Didn’t realize when the tables turned. The urge to stay together, The promises we made to stay forever. Those were the days of endless smiles, Our hearts entwined, walking miles and miles. We used to laugh, we used to cry, But now we are stars in a distant sky. Verse 2- From the laughter we shared to the sorrows I will bear. It's difficult to bear the loss, it all went wrong in the chaos. The endless talks we had, Our closeness made me glad. We used to talk we used to cry, Never realized that time flies Chorus- Those were the days of fun, Didn’t realize when the tables turned. The urge to stay together, The promises we made to stay forever. Those were the days of endless smiles, Our hearts entwined, walking miles and miles. We used to laugh, we used to cry, But now we are stars in a distant sky.
