Morrissey - First of the Gang to Die (Live at Ariat Arena, Fort Worth - 2026)

Morrissey performs "First of the Gang to Die" live at Ariat Arena (formerly Dickies Arena) in Fort Worth, Texas. After briefly addressing sound issues from the opening song, Morrissey joked with the audience in a mock-German accent that it was "very nice to be here" before launching into one of the standout tracks from his 21st-century catalog. This concert was especially meaningful for me after a long and complicated history with Morrissey live performances that included the infamous 1991 UCLA concert, multiple cancelled Dallas-area shows, and a 2024 where the performance of this song was interrupted by stage invaders.
