CPKC Detour over the Butte Mine & Eastern HO Scale Railroad

Due to a major washout near Bismarck, ND, Canadian Pacific Kansas City management in Calgary, AB negotiated with the Butte Mine & Eastern Superintendent to reroute several trains over the UP/BME Nebraska Division. The first of these trains, led by HO scale Athearn Genesis CP SD70ACu 7010, SD90MAC-H 9302 and SD90MAC-H 9303, traversed the Butte Mine & Eastern with minimal delay. Both BME and CPKC management were pleased with the progress of this train and the BME is likely to host other detour trains as a result.
