[ENG SUB] When An Examiner Crashes The Exam Field [T.YeXun 野洵] [TCG Media/听潮阁]

Translation Note: Er-Ge = “second (older) brother,” and YouGe specifically calls YeXun that because they were in a 4-person group (天外少年, along with T.YinMei and T.BeiYe) in which all of them were close like brothers. YeXun was the second oldest, while YouGe was the third. So in return, YeXun also calls YouGe “San-Di”, as in “third (younger) brother.” And in YeXun’s case, because “Ge” (older brother) is also just a common respect/intimate term in Chinese, other people also tend to call him “Er-Ge,” like the person in the video who asked “Er-Ge, what are you doing here?” before leaving the exam. Exam Context: This reassessment exam (二考) at TCG occurs when a TCG singer who already belongs to a specific “Vocal Performance Hall” (语音厅) makes a significant mistake during their performance in their respective Vocal Hall. If they are reported to be taking the exam, they may not be able to queue in their Vocal Hall and such until they take it. If they pass, then everything’s good, and they go back to their regular duties. If they fail, then they’ll be sent back to one of their “training/newbie camps” and have to take a graduation test to be accepted back into a Vocal Hall. The graduation test is audition-style, where they sing in front of the head of each Vocal Hall. If the head person wants them, they turn their chair (like The Voice) and say something to them to try and get them to join their hall, if multiple people have turned for them. (This is a very simplified explanation of the whole process. I cannot tell you more because I am overwhelmed beyond that.) Regarding mistakes being reported—I’m pretty sure most, if not all, the people who were taking the exam in this video volunteered to take it without anyone specifically reporting their mistakes. Aside from that, TCG has public auditions multiple days a week at set times. If no one shows up and the examiners (you’ll most likely see T.JS at the scene) don’t have anything to do, they usually scroll through TCG Vocal Hall livestreams and see if they can catch anyone on the spot lol. Yaps about YeXun: He wasn’t assigned to be an examiner for this examination, but he’s a part of the very first group of examiners at TCG (including T.YouGe, who also sang in the video). YeXun has an incredible reputation in the company for his singing skills. Although he doesn’t do much examiner work anymore, he has the iconic line, “I was the one who passed your examiners.” For how early he’s been in the company, and picked out adept singers who are a bunch of the current examiners. Therefore, he’s well recognized as one of TCG’s top singers, which adds to the humor of this situation. Also, people call YeXun emperor simply because one day he wore an emperor outfit for fun on stream; it became an inside joke, and now everyone uses emperor/your majesty as a nickname for him. ————————————————————— [TIMESTAMPS] 00:00 — The Emperor Joins The Reassessment Examination 02:04 — Emperor Singing Showcase 02:52 — Exam Reward + Promotion 04:12 — Scammer Emperor 04:32 — Emperor Title Text Formatting 05:49 — Examiner YouGe’s Singing Showcase ————————————————————— VOD: 【2025.9.3 野洵(凑热闹主动二考 和三弟合唱离婚、月亮照山川 深夜高音)-哔哩哔哩】 https://b23.tv/hYyv3wu ————————————————————— T.YEXUN 【T.野洵】 is a Vsinger from TCG Media/听潮阁.
