Grateful Dead — 9/14/88 — MSG, NY (Night 1) — Remastered

Opening night of the Dead's epic 9-night run in 1988 at Madison Square Garden. One of the strongest series you’ll hear. All throughout, the Dead are tight, energetic and the sound is crisp and big. This whole run was mixed exceptionally well from the outset. Our remaster for this night uses the UltraMatrix source and applies only subtle eq and imaging enhancements for improved clarity and depth.
