I went on a wild edibles bushwalk workshop, to learn more about how to forage and recognise wild foods. Watch and learn something new! This started when I saw a posting on a facebook group Bushcraft Australia for a “Wild Foods Walk & Workshop”, and decided to join on that weekend. We had a great instructor, Alan Ainsworth. He took us on a long urban and bush trail, and we learnt not only about plants for food, but plants for other uses such as decongestants and even to make a sewing needle.
