In this tutorial, you will learn how to design a complete Microsoft Word report with Mail & Deploy, step by step.
#MailAndDeploy #Qlik #WordReport
We start from a Word template with two charts and build a full sales report: a dynamic title with region and period, an automatic table of contents, charts in both chart and tabular visualization, and a repeater that creates a detailed section for every sales rep. Then we improve the report with higher chart quality, the right pivot table, and a data source filter that is removed for a single chart only. Finally, we use local variables and a condition element to remove the last page break.
What you will learn:
✔ Adding expression elements for region and period
✔ Inserting an automatic table of contents
✔ Showing a chart as a table (tabular visualization) and keeping codes unique with suffixes
✔ Building a repeater per sales rep with gauges, pie, line and bar charts and a pivot table
✔ Setting the chart quality to very high or ultra high
✔ Formatting pivot tables (merge left dimensions, alignment, indent)
✔ Using preparation actions to remove a data source filter for one element
✔ Using local variables and a condition element to hide the last page break
