Hercules vs Odysseus: Who Was the Better Hero?

Hercules can wrestle Death. Odysseus can talk his way into trouble and sometimes back out of it. But if you were the person who needed saving, which hero would you actually want to show up? We're comparing Hercules and Odysseus through the people they rescued, the problems they solved, the companions who trusted them, and the jobs they actually finished. From bringing Alcestis back from the dead to rescuing Circe's pigs, surviving the Sirens, and finally getting home, both heroes have a strong case. Their teammates might have a few complaints. Greek mythology, questionable decisions, and two very different approaches to being a hero. Welcome to Dibby.
