Elisha and the Double Portion | Where Is the God of Elijah?

What happened when Elijah’s mantle passed to Elisha? This biblical spoken-word production follows Elisha from the plough to the prophetic mantle—from serving Elijah faithfully to standing alone before the Jordan and asking, “Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” Elisha’s request for a double portion was not a demand for twice the fame or power. It was the inheritance of a spiritual son: the grace and responsibility to continue the assignment after Elijah had departed. Through Elisha’s ministry, God filled empty vessels, restored a child, healed Naaman, fed the hungry and demonstrated power governed by compassion.
