Reportedly, the uncle and nephew were drinking together when an argument broke out and turned violent. The accused, identified as Chintu, allegedly stabbed Vishal three to four times. After battling for his life in hospital for eight days, Vishal died on Wednesday. A CCTV video related to the incident has also surfaced. According to police, the dispute dates back to October 27, when Chintu had an argument with Vishal’s brother. The accused allegedly developed a grudge and targeted Vishal. He reportedly took his nephew on a motorcycle, stopped midway and attacked him with a knife, leaving him critically injured. Vishal was rushed to hospital and admitted to the ICU. Despite eight days of treatment, he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. DCP Rohini Leads Intensive Search Operation Under the leadership of DCP Rohini Shashank Jaiswal, a team led by Begumpur Police Station Additional SHO Inspector Pramod Kumar launched an intensive search for the accused. Police conducted several raids across Delhi and extended the search to Faridabad and Gurugram. Acting on a secret tip-off, the team finally arrested Chintu from Begumpur. The sustained efforts and coordinated action by DCP Jaiswal and Inspector Pramod Kumar’s team deserve appreciation. Meanwhile, the victim’s family is demanding the strictest punishment, including the death penalty. Police are questioning the accused and examining the CCTV footage as part of the ongoing investigation.
