Welcome!
In this video, we take a non-running "just needs a rewire" cafe racer build attempt and see it through to the end - from a ratsnest of wiring and a box of parts to a running bike!
This build presented numerous challenges as all builds do - in particular, we really struggled with figuring out the running issue....why would the bike only run on two cylinders? The end result was really simple, which you'll see in the video. We also struggled with the carbs, and finally settled on the jetting listed at the end of the video. Quick setup tip - float height is important! Make sure to measure and adjust as needed, as shown in the video. Shimming needles is not necessary and we advise not to - it will make the midrange overly rich, which you will misinterpret as a too rich main jet, and likely foul out or dirty up the spark plugs, making the bike hit a false rev limiter at WOT. If you ran the bike rich at any point, or haven't done plugs recently, put new ones in! The CB750 uses non-projected plug tips that will easily foul if you aren't getting the bike up to temp.
