(Not that there was any shade on the bitumenised carpark at Adelaide University.) The audience were heroic and were eventually rewarded by being hosed down by the fire brigade. Also on the Adelaide Big Day Out #1 bill: Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth, Mudhoney, Painters & Dockers, Cosmic Psychos, Where’s the Pope, Lizard Train, BNI and more. (We also had the honour of playing the BDO#2 in 1994 at the request of headliners, the RAMONES.)
