Insigne is capable of playing on either flank, or through the centre, but is usually deployed as left winger. He is known in particular for his creativity, speed, and technical ability, as well as his accuracy from free-kicks. He is originally from the Naples area, and came up through Napoli's youth system. His brother, Roberto, also plays for Napoli. Dries Mertens is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a left winger or attacking midfielder for Serie A club Napoli and Belgium's national team. Prior to Napoli, Mertens played for K.A.A. Gent, Eendracht Aalst, AGOVV Apeldoorn, FC Utrecht and PSV Eindhoven. Mertens became Rafael Benítez's first signing as Napoli coach after a reported fee of €9.5 million was agreed with PSV. Since 2011, Mertens has gained over 40 caps for Belgium national team, and was part of the nation's squad at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2016, playing alongside stars like Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, Vincent Kompany, and Kevin De Bruyne.
