It Was Literally Crumbling to Pieces! | Complete Conservation of Flash Comics #35

This Flash Comics #35 from 1941 was incredibly brittle. So brittle that the book was completely split in half. In this video, I used leaf casting and other conservation techniques to bring this Golden Age DC book back to a readable state. It wasn't a perfect process, but this book now has a second chance, and if you'd like you'll be able to bid on it during the Comics Curing Cancer event to raise money for cancer research! The Comics Curing Cancer event runs between Oct. 23rd-25th. A ton of channels will be participating in the event. You can see the full show lineup here: https://linktr.ee/comicscuringcancer And you can learn more about C3 and bid on original art here: https://www.comicscuringcancer.org Thanks to Rob ‪@Robs.fatstax‬ for hosting this wonderful event! Thanks to Bjorn ‪@TheSonOfCrom‬ for helping to fund this project! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #hawkman #goldenagecomics #comicpressing Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/music/tracks/lloom...
