Across Norrath is an EverQuest-inspired album about getting from here to there: long runs across continents, boats that may or may not arrive when you need them, loading screens, dangerous shortcuts, nighttime in Kithicor, trains to the zone line, and that wonderful moment when someone finally casts Spirit of Wolf. Sometimes the journey is an adventure. Sometimes the journey is twenty minutes of autorun. And sometimes you just missed the boat. This album is for everyone who remembers when traveling through an MMO actually felt like traveling through a world. The distance mattered. The danger mattered. Knowing the route mattered. And reaching the other side could become a story of its own. 🎵 ABOUT THE PROJECT This is an independent, fan-made musical project inspired by EverQuest, Norrath, and the experiences and memories that come from playing in a persistent online world. The music was created through an AI-assisted creative process. I develop and curate the song concepts, themes, musical direction, lyrics and revisions, album sequencing, titles, and overall creative vision, while generative AI tools assist throughout the writing and music-production process. The final songs are selected, revised, organized, and assembled as part of the larger album project rather than simply generated and uploaded individually.
