I had mentioned in the Pikmin speedrunning Discord that Beady Long Legs falling into the void (with hacks) despawns it at makes the Guard Satellite forever unobtainable on that save file. I went to pull up one of my old videos to prove it, and to my horror there was no demonstration of this fact! Was I spreading misinformation on the Internet yet again??? Thankfully, no, and this new recording proves it. The parameters modified for this demonstration are {b00} "テリトリーエリア" ("Territory Area") and {b02} "サーチエリア" ("Search Area") in kumo/parms.bin.
