Welcome back to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the history of its aviation industry. This time we look at the first entry of our spin off series, Crazy Commie Contraptions, which was SUPPOSED to be a shorter form series, as prototypes don't have massive service histories, just an interesting backstory and a cool idea. But of course, this is the USSR, and like Boris Cheranovsky, this turned into a biopic about the founding father of Soviet Surface to Air Missile systems. So forget about fake prototypes like Tesla's Flying Car, or the Tesla Roadster Flying or whatever Elon is gonna call it. Forget about Ethan Klein and the h3h3 podcast drama, its all stupid.
