Annika Betts - SSNB AAA Provincial Final, Harrison Trimble vs St. Malachy’s

Championship final of the SSNB AAA Boys Hockey, Harrison Trimble vs St. Malachy’s. Through round robin play, the Trojans finished 3-0 after beating the same St. Malachy’s team in game 3 by a score of 5-3 with an empty net. (Goalie Partner Liam Wishart with the win!) This championship game was a great one, with the score tied at 1 after the first, tied at 2 after the second and tied at 3 after the third forcing overtime to decide the provincial champions. The Trojans would start overtime with 38 seconds remaining on the penalty kill, however big brother Drew would score shorthanded on a snipe just 20 seconds into OT. It was Drew’s 9th goal in 4 games, sending the Trojans and their fans to their feet. Annika was stellar once again, allowing just 3 goals on 30 shots. Two of which on the PK and 2 also being tipped in. Annika finishes the tournament with 3 wins, a shutout, a 1.33 GAA and a .947 save percentage.
