REGA TALK #8

In mountaineering, some experiences cannot be measured by the number of summits reached. They are measured by years of dedication, by the people who have been trained, by the achievements left behind, and by the ideas that have contributed to the development of the field. Today, we are honored to welcome two distinguished guests who have devoted many years to mountaineering and its administration. From their individual experiences to the Qaywan Mountaineering Team, from expeditions and activities to installing summit signs, and from organizing training courses to working within the administration of mountaineering. But today, our aim is not simply to recount history. Through the experiences of these two guests, we want to explore the broader questions surrounding the future and development of mountaineering in Kurdistan.
