🦋 Makaon (Papilio machaon) – Förpuppning i timelapse (English version follows below.) Den här filmen visar den fascinerande förvandlingen när en fullvuxen makaonlarv (Papilio machaon) förpuppar sig och bildar en puppa. Hela processen fotograferades med intervallfotografering under flera timmar och har sammanställts till en timelapsefilm som visar varje steg i detalj. Larven hittades i naturen på sin värdväxt strätta (Angelica sylvestris) och fick därefter fullfölja sin naturliga utveckling under lugna och kontrollerade förhållanden. Detta är den andra makaonlarven som jag haft förmånen att dokumentera under sommaren 2026. The entire process was photographed over several hours using interval photography and compiled into this timelapse, revealing every stage of the transformation. The caterpillar was found in the wild on its host plant, Wild Angelica (Angelica sylvestris), and completed its natural development under calm and carefully controlled conditions. This is the second Swallowtail caterpillar that I have had the privilege to document during the summer of 2026.
