X. The Hymn of the Unburdened Present
The Tempus Threshold, freedom from expectation, and the luminous now
Verse I
I carried yesterday like stone, And feared tomorrow as my own, I built a thousand roads ahead, And mourned the things that lay in bed, For every moment had to prove, That I was worthy of its move, And time became a fearful chain, That bound my heart to joy and pain.
Verse II
To walk without desire is free, From what the hands would claim to be, To walk without identity, Is to release what cannot be, But when expectation falls away, The future loses all its sway, And time no longer rules the soul, As though its passing made me whole.
Verse III
The blood of Raktabīja fell, And fed the seeds that bound me well, Each drop became another fear, Another future drawing near, Until the Mother drank the flame, And left no seed to speak my name, The endless drama ceased to grow, And what remained was free to flow.
Verse IV
I need not make tomorrow mine, Nor force the stars to realign, Nor make the past return again, To justify the present pain, For this one breath is not a debt, Nor something I must earn or get, And though the world may change its face, The now is not a thing to chase.
Final Refrain
O Mother, let the past release, And let the future cease its claim, Let every expectation fall, That I may hear the present call, For when the mind no longer clings, The smallest breath becomes a king, And in the stillness of the now, I find the light beyond the vow.
