For seven years he guarded the flock of Christ from the wolves of the devil through his teaching and prayer, and died in peace. Also commemorated today are the holy virgin-martyr Malidama and her companions Athena, Marena, Pila, Abraham the monk, and others who gave their lives for the faith. May their prayers and blessings be with us all. Amen.
