A Predator on Paid Leave—And You're Paying For It

And the QVSD school board is still saying nothing. On October 13th, the board met again. The community showed up—again—demanding a retraction of the August 25th statement read by Chair Bill Rohde. That statement blamed the victim and told the public to move on. The board didn't retract it. They didn't even respond. In this episode, we break down the 10/13 meeting: what was said, what wasn't, and why the silence is the point. We've spent months covering Brian Weekes. That changes now. As long as he stays on paid leave funded by our money, the victims have no justice—and that means the entire board is accountable. Not just Weekes. Not just one member. All of them.
