LIVING RHYTHM | Santali Culture in Contemporary Art and Life

LIVING RHYTHM is a visual journey into the rich cultural heritage, living traditions and contemporary life of the Santals — one of the largest Indigenous communities of India. Created in connection with **SANTHALI KATHA – A Legacy, A Lifestyle, A Learning**, this film explores the rhythms of everyday life, artistic expression, ancestral wisdom and the enduring relationship between people, nature and community. Through art, stories, cultural practices and human experiences, the film invites us to discover a living heritage that continues to evolve while remaining deeply rooted in its origins. More than a reflection on tradition, LIVING RHYTHM is a celebration of cultural identity, resilience, creativity and the knowledge passed from one generation to the next. *Exposition:* SANTHALI KATHA – A Legacy, A Lifestyle, A Learning *Venue:* Kolkata Centre for Creativity, Kolkata, India *Film:* LIVING RHYTHM *A film by:* Alicja Krusenstern A tribute to the people, stories and traditions that keep culture alive. #Santali #SanthalCulture #LivingRhythm #IndigenousCulture #IndianArt #CulturalHeritage #ContemporaryArt #AlicjaKrusenstern
