Basic Information: Siren: Federal Signal STH-10 Town: Fredricktown, OH (Knox County) System: Knox County Siren System Location: Fredricktown Fire Department Tested: 1st & 3rd Friday at 12:00PM Uses: Weather Siren Cycle: 90 Seconds of Alert Other Notes: I finally had a first friday off work with the holiday, so Kurt, Emmett, and I decided to try this yellow STH in Fredricktown as I've been wanting to get a video of it for many years now. Thank goodness we had some shade under a tree as the feel like temp outside was well over 100°. Right at 12 tones started dropping and this punchy STH roared to life! This siren is on the lower mounted side so it was a chest rattler for sure! Knox County is mainly comprised of 2001s of varying ages, but there's a couple older sirens sprinkled in. Enjoy!
