June 14, 2006 - Mets vs Phillies

On a rainy Wednesday night in Citizens Bank Park, the Mets (40-23) take on the Phillies (33-31) before a crowd of 38,811. El Duque Orlando Hernandez gets the start, before being pulled following a rain-delay in the bottom of the 4th. In an offensive barrage, the Mets slam 6 doubles, 2 triples and a solo homerun from David Wright as the Mets score in six of nine innings. Jose Reyes adds four hits of his own. The bullpen holds down the fort with 6 innings of 2-run baseball with efforts from Darren Oliver, Pedro Feliciano and Heath Bell.
