What does sport really teach young people, and what does a career in sport look like beyond the pitch? On his second visit to Shrewsbury International School India, Neel Shah, CEO of Dream Sports, sat down with one of our pupils to talk about growing up with football in Southern California, the three weeks in Europe at fifteen that changed the course of his life, and why he believes sport is one of the best teachers a young person can have. He shares his thoughts on mentoring and coaching, why two hours of sport a day matters in a digital age, the many careers that exist in a fast-growing sports industry, and his advice for young athletes: play with passion, play with professionalism, and build habits that will stay with you for life. Thank you, Neel, for your time and for the great conversation.
