An old veteran with a cane arrives at a new training facility — he's the sniper instructor the SEALs are expecting, but none of them know it yet. At the long-range line, the young operators mistake him for a homeless man who wandered in, and one of them mockingly hands him a rifle and invites him to "take a shot." The old man settles behind the scope, reads the wind once, and rings a steel target at 2,000 yards on his first round. The laughter stops instantly — and then their actual instructor for the week introduces himself.
