Philae Temple Walk

A December 2024 walk through the Philae Temple Complex near Aswan, Egypt, on Agilkia Island. There is only one part. We begin visiting at the Mammisi, next to the Nile. then pass through the Courtyard of Augustus into the temple. We check out the hieroglyphics, including the famous medical carvings, and see some of the unique features of this temple, including the adjacent Crocodile Museum.
