How to create more surface area when feeding mealworms

Many mealworm farmers use potatoes or carrots to add a moisture source. Usually they just stick the entire vegetable in the tray, or maybe cut it up into a few larger pieces. Oftentimes the pieces of vegetable grow mold or dry out before they are eaten. This video shows how to prevent waste and allow more worms access to their moisture source.
