SIGNALLING ERROR at Reading Station! | Evening Peak GWR, CrossCountry & Freight |

Join me for an hour of evening peak railway action at Reading Station, as we capture a busy period of passenger services alongside a freight working that made an appearance during my visit! Throughout the video, we see a variety of services operated by Great Western Railway (GWR) and CrossCountry, with plenty of arrivals, departures and general station activity as the evening rush hour gets underway. We also capture an interesting moment when a signalling error caused some disruption around Platform 15. The exact nature and cause of the issue remain unclear, with station announcements only referring to a signalling error. From what I observed, it appeared that the issue may have been related to the number of trains being signalled towards the platform and potentially exceeding its available capacity. However, this is purely my own speculation and should not be taken as a confirmed explanation of what happened. Despite the brief disruption, there was still plenty of railway activity to enjoy, including the one freight service that passed through during my hour at the station.
