Canela Cox - Canela (2001) (Unreleased Album)

Debut and only album by singer/dancer Canela Cox which was originally scheduled to be released in December of 2001 on Dreamworks Records. 2 singles "Sponser" and "Everything" were released but failed to chart. The album was put on hold for Cox to record more material for the album. Before a revision could be made, Dreamworks was sold to Universal which cancelled the album's release along with other then up and coming projects. Canela was first discovered by Rodney Jerkins after she was featured on Jennifer Lopez’s hit song “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” which she was by no surprise uncredited for.
