Kunar Hembram is member of parliament from Jhargram in West Bengal. He belongs to Santal tribe and associated with BJP. In an interview with Main Bhi Bharat, he expressed his views and opinions on many issues. In one such answer he said the adivasis does not need a separate religion code for asserting their identity. He also calmed that 99 percent tribal groups believe in Hindu religion only.
