Tai chi and qigong music for slow, unhurried practice beneath a low winter moon.
Soft melodies drift in and out of long silences, leaving room for every breath and every turn of the waist.
Picture an imagined mountain slope covered in snow, a full moon resting low above distant peaks, and a lone practitioner holding a calm tai chi sword form while a tide of pale, moonlit mist rises slowly behind them. Nothing in the scene hurries; even the light seems to move at the pace of breath.
The music follows a quiet journey in nine parts. It begins in stillness, then passes through eight images drawn from the bagua: an open sky, a calm lake, a small lantern flame, distant thunder, wind in the pines, deep water, a resting mountain and, at last, the steady earth, where everything settles.
Use it for tai chi, qigong, sitting meditation, gentle stretching or winding down at the end of the day.
Practice note: keep the volume low, move at your own pace and within your own comfortable range, and rest whenever you need to.
