Postberg – A Season of Life | Flowers & Wildlife on the West Coast From the cold mornings of winter to the extraordinary explosion of spring flowers, this film follows a complete season in Postberg, in South Africa’s West Coast National Park. The landscape changes constantly. The first flowers slowly appear, vast fields burst into colour, insects become active, migratory birds return, and wildlife moves through this ever-changing environment. Then, as the weeks pass, the flowers begin to fade and seeds prepare the landscape for another season. Along the way, we encounter eland, bontebok, springbok, steenbok, mountain zebra, kudu, ostriches and many birds — all part of the remarkable wildlife of the West Coast. This is not only a film about flowers. It is the story of a landscape coming to life, changing, and beginning its cycle once again.
