Sometimes, thinking about the future makes it hard to stay in the present. I want to appreciate what I have, but fear still finds its way in. Writing this song gave me somewhere to put those feelings when I didn’t know how to say them out loud. I’m still learning to live with uncertainty. But there is something comforting about knowing that, even after a difficult night, the sun will rise.
