SAY THIS WHEN EVERY DOOR SEEMS CLOSED | DUA YUNUS (AS)

When every door seems closed and you don’t know where to turn, remember the dua of Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him), the words he called out from the depths of darkness. Allah answered him and saved him from his distress. 📖 The Dua: لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ 🔤 Transliteration: Lā ilāha illā anta, subḥānaka innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn 🌍 Meaning: “There is no god but You. Glory be to You. Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.” (Surah Al-Anbiya, 21:87) ✨ The Context: Prophet Yunus (AS) found himself in three layers of darkness: the night, the depths of the sea, and the belly of the whale. There was no way out and no one to turn to. In that moment he did not ask for rescue directly. He declared Allah’s oneness, glorified Him, and admitted his own shortcoming. Allah responded: “So We answered him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.” (21:88) 💡 Lessons from this dua: No situation is too dark or too closed for Allah to open a way out. Begin with tawhid and praise before asking, then humble yourself. Admitting our mistakes sincerely is a doorway to mercy. Allah’s promise to save the believers applies to us too, so keep your hope alive. The Prophet ﷺ said that no Muslim calls upon Allah with this dua for anything except that Allah answers him (Tirmidhi). 🤲 How to use this dua: Recite it with presence of heart in times of difficulty, worry, or when you feel stuck. Many people repeat it often, including after prayers and in the last third of the night. Reflect on each part: affirming Allah, glorifying Him, and acknowledging your own need for forgiveness. If this reminder benefited you, please like, share, and subscribe, and share it with someone who feels stuck right now. Leave your duas in the comments, and may Allah open every closed door for us and grant us ease. Ameen. 🤍 #DuaOfYunus #Dua #IslamicReminder #Quran #Islam #SurahAlAnbiya #Allah #Hope
