Amtrak Ride: Irvine to San Diego | 100 Miles, 160 Km

A 100-mile (160 km) ride from Irvine to San Diego, California. This is a yearly event organized by Orange County Wheelmen cycling club, (https://www.ocwheelmen.org/). The first time I did this right. Fantastic. Beautiful route and very nice people. Outstanding organization. We took the train back to Irvine at 5:00 pm. Mostly flat with around 3000 feet of elevation gain. There is one steep hill at Torrey Pines, unfortunately at mile 80. But short-ish (1.5 miles +~400 feet). Bike: Canyon Endurace SLX 8 GRC Camera: Insta360 Go Ultra.
