Just for fum I am charging one of the 350 µF 1500 V caps to various voltages only to short-circuit it with a servo motor. Such a high energy discharge could also be used to pump a YAG laser. In the second half of the video I am picking up and repairing an old AC / DC TIG welder by Rehm.
