driving from vancity to banff with a 2yo & 6mo pt1 (camping at monck provincial park)

hi soooo i got bored in life and we did something a little bit crazy haha. we left vancouver island on a saturday morning and started our trekk to banff alberta; this is part one of two! i didn't wanna upload a 30min video :') i'm also honestly not sure what footage i have from in banff + the return because i was trying to enjoy it. and we made the drive home in ONE DAY which i made an insta reel of, i don't have any long-form content of our drive home really. the kids did amazing. lots of books, toys, songs, conversation, and zero ipads/phones/electronics. E's vocabulary flourished because we talked so much, R popped two teeth, and i really learned my limits are so much further than i thought. we all did so well. there were MOMENTS of insanity of course but overall given how big of a trip it was, just the three of us, it was such a breeze. part two will be up very shortly, probably just a couple of days. i need to edit it still. we had soooo much fun. i'm already craving the next adventure lol Info: -ABSOLUTELY ZERO AI USED, PERIOD. I edited the thumbnail in befunky (which now uses AI but i did not use those features!) -Nymeria is a 2019 Model 3 SR+ with over 110,000km on her lol. she is not new, fancy, etc. just my lil sedan. -I am Ånna, my boys are E (Gooby/Goobus) and R (Shakespeare/Babus). I keep their personal info (names, birth dates, faces) offline, but a distant low-quality shot / side profile doesn't bother me too much because i don't think it exposes too much. i know posting kids online AT ALL is controversial and i respect everybody's opinions on the matter. my comfort level is a bit less than that of Outdoor Boys, where we see the kids, know their names, but nothing else - it's about the adventure, not about their doctor's appointments. does that make sense? i'm not a content creator, really. just a young woman that has been documenting her life via film & journalling since early childhood. i like to capture these moments because they're gone so quickly. i've been posting to this channel for 8+ yrs for friends & family, and for my future self to look back on. if you wanna follow along, feel free! we're chaotic, my life is a soap opera, but life is good, jesus loves you, and du kan velge en egen vei
