The Galaxy Pleaded for 700 Warships—Humanity Sent One That Crushed the Enemy | HFY

The Galaxy Pleaded for 700 Warships—Humanity Sent One That Crushed the Enemy | HFY When the Skaevaeng blockade strangles the grain world of Meisiovul, the whole galaxy begs for seven hundred warships. Humanity answers with a single dark, ugly vessel called the Iron Eclipse, and the proud Ki'prix admiral in charge laughs until he cries. Only one person notices that the blockade is strange: Ossian Walmore, a smuggler with an inconvenient conscience, who has been quietly feeding hungry enemy conscripts and selling their quartermaster something he thought was cooking spirit. Piece by piece he realizes the siege is a stage set, the rescue is the trap, and the real target is a capital left wide open. Nobody believes him except one quiet commodore with a mug of tea. What follows is a race through a forgotten smugglers' lane, a ship that casts a shadow no engine can cross, and a public reckoning in front of eleven million witnesses that includes a very unusual hat. If you like big reveals, underdog ships and a victory won with more cunning than cannon fire, this one is for you. #HFY #SciFiStory #MilitarySciFi #SpaceBattle #Smuggler #Underdog #Humanity #AlienFleet #SciFiAudio #BigReveal
