Abandoned Factory Explore | Hiriyur, Chitradurga The story of this abandoned factory located in Hiriyur taluk of Chitradurga district is not just the story of a building. Once, this factory was closely connected to the lives of farmers in this region. Today, why does it stand deserted? What was its original purpose? What activities took place here? And what led to the end of its era? In this documentary, I entered this old factory and explored the ancient machinery, different sections of the factory, and the long-abandoned traces left behind after years of disuse. Along with this, I also interviewed local farmers who were directly connected to this factory, to understand its beginning, its operations, its importance to farmers, and the changes that occurred after it was shut down. What is the real reason behind this once-bustling place now standing in silence?
