Road trip to Latpanchar, done via Dunlop, Bally bridge, BardhAaman, Futi Sanko, Moregram, Farakka,. Malda town, Raiganj, Botolbari, Dhantala, Ishlampur, Siliguri, Kalijhora, Birik to Latpanchar. Journey started around 9 pm and via Dunlop, Bally bridge, Bardhaman, Futi Sanko, Moregram we headed towards Farakka. After 1 and half hour waiting before Farakka Barage , around morning 6 am we crossed Malda town, Raiganj. Took short break at Raiganj, and headed towards botolbari. Following to that reached Dhantala, Ishlampur. Single lane road started before Bagdogra airport. Now we have hit Sevok road. Going through green , Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. Crossing landslide prone zone. Right side river Teesta flowing downstream. From main road i.e. National Highway, we have taken diversion from Birik, towards Sittong, Shelphu which leads to top of this mountain called Ahaldara. In an hour time after circling the hill we reached Green Mount Homestay. At this point our vehicle got stuck on the steep incline as the road was full of gravel and the tyres were not able to get enough grip. A rear wheel drie vehicle would have made it. Anyways, we have reached our homestay at this point. Another several yards up hill walk took us to the homestay. Climbing the mountain top from Latpanchar Green mount home stay to Ahaldara by foot will be coming in the next video release. Till then keep watching.
