I like to call it the green city in the valley given its location in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya and also due to its high amounts of rainfall. Nakuru at large is home to major tourist attractions such as the Lake Nakuru National Park, the Menengai Crater, Hells Gate National Park, and a number of wildlife conservancies. The city is cosmopolitan in nature hosting people from many regions of the planet.
