Yerer Mountain is a scenic natural beauty, home to wildlife and recluse Christian monks. It is found in Ethiopia 55kms a short drive from the capital Addis Ababa. It has many access points being located in the midst of vast plains of farmlands. Visitors usually access it through Gelan or Bishoftu (Drbre Zeit). It is a mountain of many peaks. During most visits, you can tackle one or two peaks.
