Maddy finds a strange girl stealing her school clothes from the washing line. The thief turns on Maddy. It’s a wolfblood! Maddy gives chase but Rhydian stops her, recognising the girl as Jana, daughter of Alric. Maddy is shocked to see Jana arrive at school the next day with her uniform on, greeting Rhydian like a long lost “friend”. Maddy warns Tom and Shannon to make sure they don’t let on to Jana that they know about Wolfbloods, as that would put them in serious danger. Maddy tells Jana to leave, but Jana says her Father has banished her from the pack and she wants to live life as a human now like Rhydian! Maddy mistrusts her, and besides, the bigger issue is that Jana - living in an old caravan in the woods that she’s commandeered - thought she could just turn up at school no questions asked and be accepted!
