How to Upload Financial Statements into Excel using Power Query

One tricky aspect of financial analysis is automating the borrowing steps. The very first steps I take before producing a full company valuation are actually loading its financial statements into the data tab in Excel. To load and access the files, one can use Python, but for this case, I use Power Query, which is more effective for me. Open the power query editor, select and preview the tables that you want, and pages for the financial statements, append all separate queries, rename, then merge queries to get final table, Expand the merged query, delete blank columns, replace null values, and remove duplicates. Verify the formatting of the various columns. Close and only create the connection of the queries, and finally load the queries one after the other. #financialstatements #powerquery #python #xlwings
