SCOTTISH AUTUMN ROAD TRIP | Glencoe, Torridon, Kintail and beyond | Bothy Scotland

An autumn road trip around the Highlands of Scotland is a must for anyone who loves the wildly vibrant colours of autumn as they sweep across the majestic mountains and forests of the Highlands, so with my dad and my brother, I took a four day road trip up through Glencoe, Kintail, Torridon and Gairloch, before heading south again through the Cairngorms. We’ve been meaning to get an autumnal road trip arranged for years and we finally did it! Staying in Glencoe youth hostel, Coulags Bothy, and Torridon Youth Hostel, we got a real feel for the rustic charm of Scotlands more affordable accommodation options! My dad’s first stay in a bothy, and my brother’s first road trip around Scotland for many a year, full of silliness, sausages and spectacular scenery.
